Description

The Matcha I have is from Kyushu the 3rd largest island and one of the most beautiful, warm and lush green locations in Japan. I carry the medium grade ceremonial Matcha which can be whisked either thick or thin. As always with quality teas a little goes a long way. I personally prefer the thicker taste and I drink this tea on its own to enjoy the full spectrum of flavor. If you are a fan of Matcha then you need to try this particular tea because it is different from the taste that most people associate with Japanese Matcha that comes from the famous Uji area. The umami taste is not as intense and I find it well balanced.
It’s located in southeast, far from Tokyo and Uji. It means that this area is much safer than Uji area because the tea farm in Kyushu is the farthest from Fukushima where nuclear power plant accident occurred.
